CNC Series 320 Volkswagen Clutch Pedal Conversion Kit
The master cylinder and the slave cylinder are tapped for 1/8NPT pipe thread.
No more broken clutch cables! This clutch adapter kit was designed to convert a stock pedal assembly that uses a clutch cable to a hydraulic slave cylinder. This adapter kit is useful for people who have a heavy duty clutch pressure plate such as a Kennedy Stage 1, 2, 3, or 4 in their beetle. The small tab on the front of this kit welds to your stock clutch arm. The black steel plate bolts on the outside of the firewall to help strengthen the firewall as you push the clutch pedal.
It is available with a 5/8 clutch or 3/4 clutch master cylinder. A 5/8 clutch master cylinder gives you a softer pedal feel but you have to push the clutch pedal further down. The clutch pedal will move about the same distance as a stock beetle clutch pedal if you use a 5/8 master cylinder. A 3/4 clutch master cylinder gives you a harder pedal feel but you don't push the clutch pedal down as far as the 5/8 master cylinder because you're moving more fluid volume.
The slave cylinder in this kit will work on a beetle, bus, or mendeola transmission. You'll need a 9 foot hose and two 90 degree fittings to run from the master cylinder to slave cylinder.
