2.4db Base Loaded with Spring, 134-174mHz. Compatible with most brands of VHF radio such as Icom, Vertex, Rugged, PCI and Kenwood. For optimal reception you should purchase the mobile radio antenna that was designed for a metal roof to use the roof to help project a better signal. This specific antenna was designed for a customer who does NOT have a metal roof and intends on either mounting this antenna on to a plastic roof like on a UTV side by side or on to a mounting tab. This antenna does NOT require a ground plane.
The antenna is 41 inches long not including the base. If you frequently use only one channel, for best reception cut the antenna to length based off of the frequency you are using most often.
