This Parker Pumper assembly is referred to as "Inside Air". This is the most common unit for off-road use when the vehicle does not have windows. If your vehicle does have windows then purchase the "out side" air version and duct the intake out of the vehicle. This pump is designed to pump fresh air into your helmet when driving in dusty silt covered air or to help you breath when driving behind other off-road vehicles. Parker Pumper Helmet Fresh Air systems are constructed of the finest materials and components. The motor is a two speed 12 volt motor with the red wire being low speed, the orange wire being high speed, and the black wire is a ground.
For best results on your Parker Pumper: Mount the pump where it is most likely to pick up clean air Do not mount it in direct contact of debris flying from your tires Do not mount the pump where the filter bonnet will hold dust, dirt, silt, or other debris
Every effort is made to seal the motor assembly, however, it is not guaranteed against water or moisture. The entire unit should be covered with a plastic bag or similar material when washing your vehicle. The motor assembly is guaranteed for workmanship for a period of one year. The motor draws about 1 amp on low speed and about 2 to 2.5 amps on high speed.
